LDS Mesa Temple Easter Pageant

We went on Wednesday night. It was a lot of fun. It was easier as a very pregnant woman than as a mother of a 10-month-old.  Everyone survived. We paid $5 for closer parking, and it was totally worth it!
It was nice to have a reminder of the highlights of Christ's life. The performance was great, and it was a great way to kick off the Easter season.

Spring Break is OVER!

It was nice to have a break from teaching. Since spring break started:
1. We got a little more moved in... but that is still in progress.
2. We had a baby shower for our friend, Trisha Richards.
2. We celebrated Eliza's 3rd birthday! We had a casual party at the park with friends and later Skyler's family came down to spend time with us on her special day.
3. We started going to our new ward.
4. I upped my teaching load, and Skyler finished working for Town of Gilbert. I started 3 new classes at ASU, and then I subbed a couple classes. Yesterday was pretty crazy. I left at 6:30am to exchange lesson plans and start teaching by 7:30am. The first four classes were at ASU, then I headed over to MCC for the last two.
Class 1: 7:30-8:45am
Class 2: 9:00-10:15am
Class 3: 12:00-1:15pm
Class 4: 3:00-4:15pm
Class 5: 5:45-7:00pm
Class 6: 7:10-8:25pm
I got home around 9:00pm and I was pretty wasted. My voice started going away during this cold, but it started getting bad on Wednesday. For the marathon day, my voice was squeaking and cracking most of the day, but the students worked with me. It was still pretty bad when I taught this morning, but hopefully it comes back this weekend. Green smoothies and really good orange juice is irreplacable! :) I am glad that I don't have to repeat that day again!
5. Spring started, and it got a little hot.
6. Isaac started officially walking! He can walk from one side of the dining room through to the end of the family room. And he tied Eliza. Both were 10 1/2 months old when they were officially walking... that definitely came from Skyler! :)

Phoenix, Here We Come!

We moved to Phoenix this week!

We are excited about this move for a lot of reasons:

1. The Apartment
a. We went from 700 sq ft to 850 sq ft!
b. We went from 1 bedroom to 2 bedrooms!
c. We increased our patio size
d. our apartment is prettier... stainless steel appliances, newer cabinets, etc

2. Our Community
a. Our neighbors is really helpful and friendly
b. There is basically a mini gym, kiddy pool, other pools, some grass, courts, fish ponds
c. A walking trail to the Phoenix zoo!

3. We are closer to our jobs
a. Castles N Coasters is so much closer
b. ASU is a lot closer too!
c. MCC is about the same

4. We can now finish our foster care homestudy because we have room for another kid!

5. We are still close enough to visit our friends.

6. It feels good! We paid to have an apartment reserved for us across from where we were living. When it was time to sign a lease, it just didn't feel right. We prayed to figure it out and felt led to this area. It feels good to feel peace, especially after NOT feeling good!

We were blessed with lots of angels this week! Thank you!
