Oh Tirana!

In case you didn't know, there was a huge anti-government protest in Tirana, Albania. Approximately 20,000 protestors want to move up the next election because of alleged corruption. The government and riot police violently responded to the protesters. Sali Berisha, the current prime minister has been urged by the US and EU to stop using provocative language. Three were killed and over 130 police and protestors were injured.

Also you can watch the video of one of the shooting victims http://shqiplajme.com/kush-jane-vrasesit-e-vertet-video/. The video has helpful commentary in Albanian, which many of you will not understand. However, there are helpful visuals like circles and numbers. So, just pay attention to what they have marked and you will get the gist of the idea. The video basically asks the question, "Who are the real killers?"

Keep Albania in your thoughts and prayers. I pray that they will find peace and freedom from corruption!
