So, I was talking to my mom one afternoon this week about a new interesting development in our lives that had that morning made me cry. She and I both were laughing about it because... well sometimes you laugh or cry, and at that point we chose to laugh. Then she told me that I really should share more about my pregnancy, delivery, recovery, etc... and maybe someone would benefit from my experiences. So, after deciding that she was right... I am going to do that. Plus it will be good to journal it better, and my friend Lindsay just recorded her birthing experience on her blog, which I loved reading.
So, WATCH OUT. There might be more text and fewer pics for a little while. But hopefully, someone out there will either enjoy reading it or learn something.
To give you a preview. I decided that there are like 5 areas/milestones of becoming a mother: 1. conception 2. pregnancy 3. delivery 4. recovery 5. breastfeeding
I decided that I am good at 1 out of the 5. Can anyone guess which one?

Hmmm. wild guess- conception? I don't know.
But I do know that after the birth of my first I was pretty traumatized, and it helped a lot to read others' stories and find support group.
I'm excited to read your story!
haha not sure which one you're good at--- but this is great. hooray mommy blogging!
TMI :)
haha, yeah...that's about all I was good at too. Don't worry, you'll forget that the other parts weren't so successful...just remember, everything you do is worth it! :-) I'm excited to read more!
I was gonna guess conception too, based on the fact that it didn't take too long for little Eliza Lane to show up! I look forward to reading your stories/thoughts. Blogging/reading others' blogs has turned out to be one of the most cathartic things I've done in the last year or so. Like therapy :)
don't worry, you don't have to be good at all of them...just try! I am at various levels on each subject. AND.....I doesn't get any easier with pregnancies. You would think you get the hang of nursing....but it still hurts just as much or more. We are the only constant....but our individual babies can change EVERYTHING! Gotta love em!
